Restrictions on
Sponsorship
The Carbohydrate Awareness Council
restructured the organization and
established restrictions on sponsorship of our
organization. As an organization that takes as its
foundation the scientific evidence, we limit and
restrict the types of companies we accept sponsorship
dollars from. While this may limit our funding, we
believe that it expands our ability to remain objective
to the evidence supporting controlled-carb nutrition by
limiting outside influence on our positions.
At this time we do no longer
accept sponsorship dollars from any corporations or
for-profit entities.
